Went to the AGM last night up in Harrogate and thought that some might appreciate a little teaser on whats in the pipeline for 2011......

- New Chairman for the North Region Committee for 2011

- Several new Committee members including one from this forum representing Merseyside

- Two new registered grounds pending in Lancashire, one of which is planning on holding registered ESP, STR and FSP competitions in 2011...

- The revival of the North Region Inter-counties

Interesting times indeed :good:

Boakes was looking for a job........ :P

Guess again

There were however two representatives from CPSA HQ there last night:

Terry Bobbett; the National Director and Chairman

and John Perry the stand-in Chief Executive.

Both Terry and John were extremely happy to answer any questions from the members present and provided an insight into several current areas of discussion at HQ :good:

Well done Guys, it's good to see you getting involved with decision making at local level within the CPSA.

You'll need to be pretty thick skinned at times, (comes easy to most Northerners), but at least you're getting in there to help get things sorted, instead of the "Essex Man" approach of spitting out the dummy and then wingeing from the sidelines.

Good luck to you all. :good:

Cat.

Come on Cat, even now you must be getting bored by yourself.

Well done to all concerned :good:

Nice work Nicky!

Good on you for getting involved and helping to make a difference rather than sitting on the sidelines whining :D

Jon.

Thanks Jon - there are a lot of good people involved up here and things are looking promising for 2011. Let's hope that the momentum continues :good:
