mikky
being dragged round the shops on a saturday, getting slapped across the back of the legs for moaning, busting for a pee only to find your trousers dropped in front of a bus stop full of people and told to pee in the grid, bumping into an auntie who just happened to notice a black mark on my face, produced a snotty hanky, gobbed in it and tried to rub the non existant mark off.....the good old days

Gemini
Getting up on freezing cold mornings to do my paper round and watching whilst the coal fire was being prepared for lighting. Having to walk halfway down the back yard in the winter just to go to the toilet. Going out and feeding the milkman’s horse whilst he was having a cup of tea in the kitchen. Sitting on the roof of the shuntermen’s sheds and watching the trains being shunted into the sidings ready for hauling away. Walking to school in 12 inches of snow (they didn’t close the bloody schools in those days). Paying £12-10/-6d for my first shotgun. G.M. Whitebridges
Used to wait until we had at least three in the tree all lined up before we were allowed to pull the trigger. In the summer of '71 i shot 26 pigeons in eight shots. Best 5.
