J@mes
Even though he did shoot two thieves, I am glad they have taken his licence off him! They could have been kids or an early morning dog walker or anything! While I accept that no-one should be on his land, firing blindly is not really the answer! It would be far from me to say he shot some oiks trying to nick his personal stash...... he shocked farmer, who suffers from multiple sclerosis and neuralgia, that the men had been admitted to hospital suffering from gunshot wounds to their legs and backs. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1339465/Disabled-farmer-shooting-fox-accidentally-hits-intruders.html#ixzz18NPHXG3j detectives then discovered that a cannabis factory had been set-up in an outbuilding on the farm. It is thought the two men were attempting to steal from it when they were shot. Mr Tibbs had no knowledge the outbuilding was being used for this purpose. poontang
If cannabis was legalised this would never have happened. I blame the government

SilentKill
well my first question would have been, how were they getting electricity to the stables they were renting? no one notice they cable or a dug up hole?
steve_b_wales
Revoked his licence on the grounds that he kept too much ammunition on his farm  I did'nt know that there was a limit on keeping shotgun cartridges. If that's the case, I've probably broken the law when I've bought a few thousand at a time!

Fisherman Mike
Hmm farmer, MS, Cannabis, Fox? It would be far from me to say he shot some oiks trying to nick his personal stash...... yes its a very interesting combination of occurences....I know several farmers who are less than active shall we say...I'd bet all my savings each of them would know what is going on in any acre of their land at any time.. The Chap was fit enough to get out and about shooting but not to inspect his property... I wouldnt be suprised if The Police had their suspicions about the weed factory After having is certificate revoked he replied "Hey Im cool with that.......chill man"

UKPoacher
I'd like to commend the ****** on their stealth. Not only were they not seen by the farmer, the fox didn't notice them either
Dave-G
Really thoughtfull and considerate of plod to make it known to ****** the disabled and old farmer is no longer able to defend himself or his property. The bloke will probably need 24/7 protection now - think of the potential for overtime on that.
