Pardon? :ermm:<_<

I heard him from Kegworth today, Total Gobsheeyte :o :lol:

It was just as ****in' hot at Keg, what a challenge !!

The targets they were good, with a few different presentations shown :good:

The wheels came off towards the end though,so the promising start was history, but i did manage to kill all 8 on the last stand in the car park for a change :lol:

You should have come to Rufforth, G - we could have done with you on our team for the inter-counties! Me, Adam, Ollie and Paul Foster had a team in and we missed out by 1 clay

That landfill was smelling a bit ripe in this hot weather though

Those skeet boys luv it don't they ;);)

We do it all wrong with the gun out of the shoulder,no crouching down, shooting them all in the wrong place and never a high five to be seen :lol::lol:

Talking about sandbagging, shot Catton today with Yellow Bear and his friend Mark

81 for myself, shame about the 4 teals that got away ! DOH

70 for Mark, very steady and impressive shooting for a chap that's only been shooting a year, thou I believe he's had some lessons from a B Clegg ? :good:

64 ? For Yellow bear, the poor lad was suffering in the heat and his old war wound was playing up..

Even if Timps had to go to the sulking corner to sort himself out   . Seemed to work though :hmm:

Sulking :o seeing as I had missed 11 clays on the first 3 stands I had gone in to the corner to shoot myself but missed :o

Its a good job I straightened 6 stands otherwise I would have given up for a bit me thinks....... Was 2nd in class when I left considering my start I will take an 81..... Good company today apart from being deaf in one ear from some **** insisting shouting pull at the top of his voice constantly.

Shot the members handicap comp at MCSC today, missed 5 off the first 2 traps (went back and cleared them both after the comp) doh!!...... then 4 silly clays due to lack of concentration.

Ended up with an 85 which could have easily been a 90+ with a little bit of concentration but enjoyed the shoot and the company nonetheless.

But I am now out of the comp 85 + 3 handicap = 88 for me & 61 + 33 handicap = 94 for him. :o

I would have had to shoot a 92 to go through today, it was possible if I had just learnt to keep my concentration going but it was always going to be tough for me today as I was 30 behind without firing a shot

Cheeky 25 straight, away from home in the League shoot tonight  We still got beaten though <_<

Well shot Paul, I was there earlier today at Marne and had 2 rounds of 50 shot 83/100. Didn't even make my score count for the Wensleydale shoot at Hardraw. Thats life. How many did we lose by? from Auntie.

We lost by 8, so although it wasn't that close - it wasn't a thumping  <_< Thimbleby next week :good:

Shugborough today with Timps and Anni.

El Magnifico rides again. :sly:

I got joint 1st in B Class

Scores on the doors :

Chard - 88 :P AA Class El Magnifico score

Timps - 85 :good:

Anni - 77 :good: Shot well but ****** up a couple of stands big style.

Few other PWers knocking about there :

IanE - 84 :good: Well shot Ian, you won C Class

Mr Potter - 87 :good:

Whiskymac - 77ish (can't remember exactly) :P

Have to say it didn't seem a particularly difficult shoot.

Kevin Mayor won it with 97, Martin Myers 92

Fantastico weather, hot sunny and no wind :good:

I went to Shuggy today as well.

Shot my second 100 registered, so after my next 100 I'll be able to apply for temporary classification.

Shot 65 last time and 74 today, quietly chuffed after only being at it for a year or so.

We should get ourselves PW badges so we can recognise fellow PW'ers.

Fantastic conditions today, lovely ground.

Well done to all who shot :good:

Well shot you Shugbuggerers :yes::good::good:

Orston for me today. As always a really good shoot with a test on every stand, every target needed some thinking about, even the few that looked relatively straight foreward :hmm:

Can't remember the last time i shot a totally edge on teal at a bit of range :good::good:

The ground was in great shape too with some nice stands behind the new banking.Finished on a reasonable 89 :good:

Well shot everyone at Shuggy today, I've had 3 great shoots on the run now, the targets have been very kind to me thou !

Just hope I can keep it up for North Wolds next Sunday !

I missed all the going away birds on the simo teal stand 3 ? no problem with the left to right bird but could NOT seem to find that going away bird :hmm: which wasn't good, I also dropped a couple of rabbits :o and the a flopper or 2 on that stand, otherwise just dropped the odd one or two.. Was pleased to hit all but one of the high edge on cross on stand 1 thou after a very long wait..

Shot Southdown yesterday, lovely day with some tricky stands.

First time out with my new gun, and was suffering from over thinking everything from about stand 5 onwards.

Would have been happy with a 60+ but scraped a 52. Straighted the third stand, a couple of L-R crossers which is what I was struggling with before, so I guess I can't blame the gun anyway ;)

I think I need a slight extension to the stock, but a recoil pad should take care of that. Then all I have to do if work out exactly how I'm missing the ******* things ;)

Great day out all in all, the father in law hit a PB 74, and was well chuffed.

The ground improves everytime I go there, and everyone there seems pleasant and always up for a chat or offering some advice where needed.
