chewyjack.22
Really enjoyed it nice to see the bbc showing programs like that, cant wait for points of view this week :o also is my magnet very slow or was that magnet very fast Edited February 28, 2006 by chewyjack.
Nildes
NIce country but the program was a bit creaky and the characters a bit over the top. It'll give the townies false expectations. Ah well, off to buy a red neckerchief :o

lurcherboy
Enjoyable viewing as opposed to 99% of the television. Let there be more. LB :o
Frank
Just finished here 20 mins ago. Interesting, pigeon shooting was good escpecially how he cleand the pigeon afterwards. Hope it continues the next few weeks. The poem bits were a bit naff. :o He also mentioned how coprative shooting is bad for the shooting scene. What does everyone think of this? Slipster
Corprate Shooting Hmmm Very mixed feelings :o In one way it brings revenue to the local people BUT in another way the people who shoot Total W*****S and have no idea about life in the country or what they are doing

Nildes
I agree with him on the numbers game. That applies to pigeons too. I think, if your going to shoot big numbers, you need to show that they're for food and not wasted. Stories of shoots burying the surplus dont help our cause. The Press just see pictures of grinning chinless wonders standing beside a pile of bodies & these chaps haven't a clue about what happens to them after. jonno 357
I may be right in thinking it was a pilot. Well I think the ship has sunk one this one. What a pile of ****e. Surely those two guys can't be for real ? What a pair of tits they made themselves look. I thought it was some sort of comedy wind up. I was waiting for Jeremy Beadle to pop out from behind a tree :o Jonno
Browning
I'm with Jonno on this one. Great idea, extremely bad delivery.

Pedro
It was very funny when he took that shot and the pigeon landed in front of him. Even the boy shouted out that it had been thrown in :o P.

Whitebridges
I enjoyed it. That's the way to breast a pigeon. Like the salmon fishing bit. Next time I do Pigeon pie I'm gonna stuff the legs in the pie too. That way it might put a few newbies off and leave more for me. :o
Dunkield
I enjoyed it as well, but I couldn't help thinking it was heavily edited down, as it has been said they were hardly hidden when pigeon shooting and you don't catch normally salmon as easily as that even if you have timed it right. The idea was right, I didn't htink it was the time or place to discuss big bags as it smacks of divisions in the ranks. The characters were well over the top but not untypical of many shooting sorts I am afraid..
