adymorris
This is based on the 3" version - if you have a 3.5" dig deep and but some big *** expensive cartridges or change the main spring 32g 5/6 work fine - I had been using 28g's and various clay pigeon loads - all cycled fine. i then upgraded to a 4+1 with an uprated spring - that was also cycling everything I then upped it to a 7+1 and found everything below 32g jammed on every shot and now only use 32's - something to do with the mag spring tension I guess - no doubt it could be fettled by a gunsmith just like some .22's that won't cycle subs. On the other hand you can pay 3 times as much for something beginning with B as the Hatsans are well knows for being good for nothing and the fact some people can't afford other more expensive guns has nothing to do with it and is no excuse for a poor choice in shotguns. J@mes
No idea, get a Beretta/Remi etc. Buy cheap buy twice Funny when people say that, and in the other "escort" thread someone has said their maxus (retail of £1300 by the way) wont cycle 67mm shells. It's even advised against in the manual. nothing between 24 and 40 gram has jammed my escort and I haven't tried anything else. Blackbart
pigeon extreme 34g 5's Have an 8 shot and can fill it up with these and be confident that it will not jam.
poorpeet
3" chambered Hatsan will cycle 65mm 21grm Hull Comp X provided it's reasonably clean and the O ring is in good condition. Just had to replace the O ring in mine for the first time in it's on a 2 1/2 year life.

point and shoot
Briefly had an escort. The only advice I was given by the gun smith was to use 70mm cartridges. The shorter ones would cycle ok but sometimes they would jam. 70 mm - no problem!

12borejimbo
I use Eley Pigeon Carts 30/32 gram 6s in my ruscort, had it over a year and cleaned it twice, never had a jam or a misfire. I reccomend this gun for the price and warranty! Its a stop gap for 3 years until I can buy a benelli!

Walker it's true , it's not so much the grams as the length , my Hatsan will shoot 67mm all day every day , but feed it 65mm and it will jam occasionally ,
