sutty
Hunter mate , Have you discussed your options with a careers adviser at the college. My advice would be to speak to him about possible Uni courses with respect to an engineering degree or simlar. (And if all else fails** HUG** the nearest tree, nobody expects you to work then and the money isn't bad either.) Regards Sutty

ferretmanabu
Get yourself an apprenticeship to be a plumber/electrician or something along those lines. You'll be raking the money in and it ain't a bad job either. Edited to say you also get the chance to emigrate as plenty of countries need those professions. jimdfish
I was a at mcdonalds the other day and when i pulled up to the window and ordered a quarter pounder they informed they had no burgers ready. I looked at the trusty chronograph and was informed that it was five of the oclock. I asked " why no burgers, is it not time of the tea". "Yes" replied the gomp behind the glass " but we have none ready" Complain did I that this was not on and i was offered a free slurry or whatever they are called as compensation. I answered in the negative with much posturing and distain and insinuated that all i was interested was my sandwich and fries of the french persuasion. It was on exit of the the drive thru that i realised I could have received a slurry without being lighter in the pocket and started to feel a true sense of loss. With this in mind i heartilly recommend a career in fast food ( Mcdonalds) to which I am sure you will rise meteorically to the role of manager and will thus be able to furnish me with tokens which I can exchange for free sweets of the takeaway kind without me having to make such a scene again. Please forward all vouchers for cinnamon do-nut and thermnuclear hott apple based snacks to me forthwith. Failing this go to university and get yourself a qualification that will enable employment that enables you to employ craftsmen of every type without having to get your hands dirty unless the choice is made by yourself. There is no fun to be had working outdoors or in unheated workshops setting yourself on fire or running the risk of cutting off one your digits. BSC in engineering means never having ot pick up a spanner but you will have to design a machine to pick up your paypacket

ferretmanabu
But don't go to uni and study something worthless like psychology or media studies. Make sure you'l lhave a job at the end of it cos you'll have a hell of a debt to pay off, plus you'll want to start getting on the property ladder. You'll use all of your skills, make enough for a decent living and always have a set of wheels to go shooting with. Riothedog
Hunter If you don't know what to do then you are in a really cool place. Learn to think - not to follow - think. Most people regurgitate what they have been told - a fraction of the real story and then consider that they have an informed opinion. Learn to get on with people. Learn to read people like they read books. Then make them feel good. Understand how money works and what money is. Most people don't. Be flexible. Do for fun what most people do for a living. And - dream job for me at the moment, fly to Australia and get a job on a ranch shooting the vermin. You get a horse, paid, rifle and bullets. You leave it where it drops and you'll learn loads. Whatever you do, DO NOT sign your life away. Don't join the forces - utter garbage these days. Whenever you sign your name or commit to something, think about who benefits and make sure that you are on the list. If you are in need of a list of books and resources then pm me. Keep well RTD
