When you are surfing around the Internet, do you listen to music ?

I have downloaded all my favourites through KaZaA Lite (same as KaZaA without the adverts, spyware, etc ). ;)

Some are stored on My Music, others I have burned into CD,s.

I,m currently listening to Macy Gray, it was Bananarama just now. ???:D

Big Dave, You want to think about changing to KaZaA Lite.

You would be amazed at all the spyware that KaZaA dumps onto your computer.

If you haven,t got a "spyware killer" a good FREE one is Ad-aware.

Go to http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ you can download Ad-aware from there.

Use it to clean up your files.

Broadband allows you to download a song in a couple of minutes. ;)

Ok

mp3-wav so you can listen on your "home" cd player looses a lot of quality . It sounds flat and the bass notes do not go low enough .

Copyed cd's from an original also suffer from the same problem .

By the way hi-fi is one of my other "hobbies2 so your lucky you are not reading a 20 page long report on the sound dynamics of copyed cd's

all the best yis yp

Wow cranfield v. clued up I'm impressed mate and YP too! I don't find mine lose quality personally and for the price difference (30p a cd to a £13 album ;) ) If I like the band or songs enough then I guess I'll buy the album but often i download listen a few times then ditch them.

I'm gonna go for "Feeder - Buck Rogers" and "Seven Days in the sun", probably be more EGNWT and BigDave's taste than the rest of you pensioners ??? went to see them in concert a few weeks ago, they were great :D

If we compare the "average" CD player and speaker system, against a computer with a CD player and a decent stereo headset, I don,t think the difference in quality is significant.

I appreciate that sophisticated CD stereo systems are something else. ;)

Its amazing what rubbish that dam program dumps on your computer.

I dont really know what sort of music i like if I hear a song on the raido i get on Kazaa and download it. ;)

I also down loaded deer Hunter 2 and Rocky Mountain Hunter on kazaa they took hours but were well worth it. :D

You lot obviously have some hearing left.

I can't understand the words of any modern song that has any music in the background. 1950's songs, I can understand, or is it that I know the words? Anything after the early 70's, I have to listen too at least a dozen times before I know what the words are.

Does everybody else understand the words of a song when they first hear it played???
