Rushjob
Nope, sat up watching for the best part of half an hour after I shot these but there was no sign of her - I think she was calling them when I got the drop on them & made herself scarce but I know where the earth is so you never know your luck. There's always tomorrow

al4x
patience normally they tend to keep appearing if the vixen isn't there to warn them. Nice shooting always good to get hold of them early on

Rushjob
OK, to answer a few q's Gun is a Gamba CX707 3 shot... First shot missed - too much lead as the first ran in from the field into the woods, second shot hit that one, then number two runs out of the woods, third round sorts that. Before I can move forward, a third cub runs out so I feed a single shell into the breech & drop number three, reload into the breech and am just about to reload the magazine when I see no 4 heading back to where I later found the earth, first shot hit it but not hard enough so it got a second in quick succession. Now I know why we repeatedly practised those reload drills and yes it got the heart pumping!!! All shot with 46g no3's. To cap it all it was my first ever ( and 2nd, 3rd & 4th ) fox!
