frogs dying

was up farm walking about yesterday and we have couple paths that run near two ponds ,thing is theres a lot of dead or dying frogs on the paths from dried out skeltons to ones on last legs.turned one over that was barely alive and it was split from neck down a bit.is this a mass suicide pact or something as there all in centre of path few feet apart nearly length of it other path is same puzzling. <_<

Last year my mate and i were going up my father in law's farm lamping, there are a few ponds close by. Anyway the road (small lanes) leading up to the farm were rammed with frogs, and i mean rammed! There were hundreds, no, thousands of the ******* everywhere. Couldn't help flattening a couple hundred with the car!

Anyone know what that was all about?? Do they mass migrate or something?? :hmm:

That's more common with toads.
