They'll try and tell you there was no warning of the hub detaching itself...no clonks, no vibration, nothing! It just fell off! :hmm:

 

 

I'd suspect there may have been a slight lack of maintenance on that vehicle, dunno what it is that suggests that, maybe it's the hand painted...errr....paint!

The complete disk assembly wasnt even there, I think it must have come off with the wheel and the bottom side of hub where the track rod end sits in was comletely smashed but the driver had still managed to do a u-turn in a junction and drive it back up the road 30/40 meters and park it up nicely ready to be recovered.... THE BEST 3 X 3 FAR!!!.

My guess is the owner takes the wheel nuts off one wheel to stop thief its a crud way but very effective thats why it drive for a fair distance.

looks like its a well abused example thats seen some decent off road action thats lost the entire hub assembly
