It will probably end up like it did in the eighties, when the idiots came out in sympathy in various cities across the UK, and cost the country a fortune. I think it is time to charter some large planes and boats to repatriate them to their motherlands :good:

The most appalling quote that I heard on the BBC news today was from a Guardian reporter who referred to the Thursday shooting death as "murder"

Up to their usual standard of objective reporting then.

The Beeb seemed to be constantly interviewing a succession of community leaders wanting "answers" as to why their fellow was shot - although taking a shot at an armed officer seems like an obvious enough reason to me.

Also to be a little controversial, it maybe time to start shipping some of these un-lawfull persons back to their ancestral homelands, if they don't want to abide by our rules and laws in this country. Ship them back so they can then run riot on the Caribbeanrabean islands (or where ever) with relatives!

Never going to happen and shouldn't anyway. Many involved last night will be second or even third generation British blacks, the disaffected youth of the guys who come over in the 40's, 50's and 60's, but they are undisputedly British and to an extent we as a country have to take the blame for their disaffection. They have been allowed to feel alienated and as such have formed their own tight knit groups that have become heavily infiltrated by organised crime creating the gang culture we have today.

While I share your feelings of dislike for what's happened we are well beyond the 'send them home' mentality, they are home.

What needs to happen IMO is a far more robust and less lenient approach taken to their actions. Take the war to them as it were, and become pro-active rather than reactive, while endeavouring to make bridges with the remaining and majority of law abiding members of their communities.

No easy task granted, but it's a situation that's been allowed to deteriorate for 20 years or more, there will not be a quick fix.

Law!! What Law!!

I have no respect for the law, or police.

When you get rapists from another country who are let out and are aloud to stay because they have had sex and ended up having a baby!!

When you get murderers from another, who are aloud to stay because under the 'Human Rights' act they have a 'right' to a family life!!

Come on!!

It goes on and on and on.

Who are the mugs???? us, for putting up with it.

Utter tosh of the highest order. People should take account of their own lives, If what you said was true then every black man and woman would be out rioting, they are not. The vast majority are law abiding, perfectly function members of our society. The few who choose to blame 'the man' for all their problems have only themselves to blame.

This country is over-equal. 'Positive discrimination' is sadly rife and opportunities are out there by the bucket load.

I have just listened to a bus load of "community leaders" come on the BBC and explain how terrible the police treat the local black youths and that the riots were political and police motivated.

Then there was some poor fella who had his mobile phone shop turned over and burnt scratching his head on how looting and torching his shop was "political".

Indeed, the enterprising young men who were emptying the local Iceland did strike me as quite the Dostoyevsky / Ai Weiwei.

The loads of tosh that gets spewed up to justify the unjustifiable, and I can't believe the BBC reporter lets them run on without just calling them out on spewing utter ********.

And they say it's a deprived area lacking in investment. Well I bet the investors are lined up now....

That's because the Beeb are just full of **** and have a major downer on the police and government! Any opportunity they get to allow or spout the brown stuff they will.

I have spent the morning laughing at sky tv.

when I have been able to understand the level of English being spoken, the ideas being spouted are comical.

we had simian brown on discussing the yoof issues, then someone else came on saying the rioters were all university students who can't get jobs.

it's just TNB.

While I appreciate your views, and agree we need to "take the war to them". We all know this will never happen, how can this be done when no one takes any notice of the law within this country, and those who have the un-enviable job of trying to enforcing, especially when they have their hand tied behind their backs. We are all having to be pink and fluffy to ensure we don't do or say anything that upset anyone in any way for fear of being classed as racist or similar and becuse of "peoples rights".

There is too much spouted about "winning hearts and minds" etc, these people just need to BEHAVE, and do what is expected of them, in what is supposed to be a civilised society. I don't break the law so why should they feel the need to do so causing missery to all? So I am sorry I do feel if they don't want to "shape up, they should ship out" and if necessary the Govenment should help to facilitate this. Yes they maybe third or fourth generation born and bread in the UK but they only use this when it suits them for their gain! It is a shame they haven't followed the ethics of the first generation who came to these shores, who were generally law abiding and very hard working and a welcome adition to the communities. When are we going to wake up in this county? I don't think we ever will! As far as I am concerned when in Rome do as the Romans do!

With regard the deteriation you speak of in the community in the last 20 years. It is funny that alot of the community leaders (not all) on the TV today is talking about the good relationships that now exisit within the communities in Tottenham with the police compared to that of 20 years ago, and the hard work the Authorities have put in to improving the situation. So what is it? If things are better why do they still feel the need to carry out such attrocities? I was born and bread in London (not that far from Tottenham) but I wouldn't go back for all the tea in China and I loved the city, but it was bad enough when I left in the 70's now it appears that the tail is well and truly wagging the dog, and the streets are now being run by the ethnic gangs thugs!

I have agree with others who have commented, and say the person who was shot by police officers deserved all he got. If he was a law abiding citizen he wouldn't have had an illegal firearm let alone been confronting the police. If this had happened in another country would their authorities be bowing down to the criminals, their families or those within the community who want to cause and fule trouble, or is it just our "pink and fluffy" attitude here in the UK, and our inabilty to enforce the law without question and retribution in this country?

There will never be a crackdown on this culture of crime and thuggery because the community leaders will always use the arguments of racism to excuse what's happened. No go areas have been created, ghettos where crime is rife and accepted by the underclass that live there.

Rioting, thuggery, gun crime and drug dealing are superficially policed but allowed to continue, helped by lawyers and the "human rights" brigade.

The only way you will see a return to hard policing is when the criminals and rioters are middle class white British who decide they have had enough of being treated like idiots by the establishment.

I would like someone to publish some figures on the ethnic make up of the UK, percentage of Afro caribbean, Asian, European etc and then similar figures for each community involved in or convicted for drugs, gun and street crime, I bet that would be an interesting comparison and one which the home office wouldn't want to admit.

the government needs to close all the kfcs in London, and not reopen them until peace is restored.

They're the same in your country and mine. It's not because they feel oppressed or angry, they just use incidents like this as an excuse to riot and break ****.
