Think weather looks a bit to nice on Thurs, so maybe those geese will be out sun bathing for us

Forgot to say thats the only marsh i dont take much notice of the tide times on, as i am either down in the ditch by the 1st bend or out on the splash, and last season we had more luck when the tide was low at dusk or dawn, wierd

:yahoo: Back from offshore yesterday and believe it or not  the wife ( aka WFW wild fowling widow)suggested that we go down to the shore (only 5min away) for a look see what was about. :good: glad we did cause a good number of greylags for so early in the season and also a lot of mallard, although some of the young dont look like they have got there wings for flying yet.

The tide is not so good for where I am going the shore is flat with only small short gullys but I know it is the goose flight line so I intend to go down around 430ish and get myself set up. The WFW says that I will be in the spare room  (second night back from offshore I think not) :o

Good hunting to all who are daft enough to do it :shoot:

All sorted and ready to roll here :good:

Meeting Markio at 4.30, then a short walk to the marsh.

Seem to be a fair few geese around at the moment so plenty of big bangers in the belt. Fingers crossed.

Full English in local pub afterwards.

Good luck to everyone else going out this morning :good:
