paulos
Went to play football the other day, climbed up the fence to get the pitch, jumped down the other side. managed to stick my thumb on one of the wire spikes on the top, tearing away half of my thumb. after an ambulance trip to casualty, two nights in hospital and three hours of reconstructive surgery, im now in a cast for the next 6 weeks and probably unable to shoot until september its going to be a very long summer! Axe
Worst type of footballing injury!! What was wrong with an elastoplast? what was wrong with using the GATE. It certainly does beg the question why were you going over a fence with barbed wire?
Frank
Sorry to hear that. The gate would have saved a lot of hassell.

paulos
hi, thanks everyone! if there was a gate to go through we would have used it! it wasnt barbed wire on the top it was the meshing protruding from the top i got caught on. in hindsight we should have just gone home, but when you've just paid a tenner for the taxi there then find the gates locked, climbing seems the only option. still, its another lesson learnt the hard way, i certainly wont be doing it again!
