Scully
Absolutely brilliant. What a fantastic article.Have a keen interest in military archeology, and have an article on a Russian T34 retrieved from a bog in Russia I think, where it was submerged since the second world war. After giving it a rudimentary clean in situ, mechanics were able to fire up the engine! Was sent it as an e-mail,but have no idea how to post it on here.
Thunderbird
It's great isn't it? Spitfires are awesome. Reading this thread title I did think for a minute someone had resurrected the 'reading in the loo' thread to an extreme level
Canis
mentally pocketed this story to roll out when someone starts wanting to champion the products of some dodgy italian gunsmith over the designs of the mormon gunsmith.
