will1992
hi guys,i was wondering if you could give me some ideas or tips about how to get rabbits to come out.I have recently been looking out my window into my field and noticed an increase in rabbits eating everything.I went out earlier today and sat down, in a hole sourounded by long grass, and waited for them to come out the odd one or two came out but nothing close enough to shoot. Is there something i can put out there to attract them or just get them to come out? Any tips or tricks will be put to good use! Cheers, Will

palombier
I agree with fulltime shooter, you can squeak them in quite close. i have used this method on a number of occasions to good effect. It takes a bit of practice but won't take you long to perfect. Regards P
Hunter
This is interesting. Does this work at all times of the year? or just the breeding months when there are young 'uns.

young gun
Make sure you are down wind of their holes otherwise they take a long time before coming out and when they finally do they tend to come out at the far end of the warren well out of range
young airgunner
just been watching fred carters spring time pest control and another rabbit shooting dvd and they make it look so easy lol. they just appear right infront of them in range and stand still lol. fulltimeshooter
Yep works that way with me personally i dont bother about the wind as i find it makes very little diffrents but with foxes, wind thats a whole other thing as they are very scarse creatures.... SPEEDY
I have called in Rabbits many times I also call in a lot of Hares when I’m whistling Foxes, other options are Ferrets or if their coming out late there are lots of scope mounted lights and spotlighting them is the best way I know of knocking them over.
