The Essex Hunter
Further to my post titled “A long time age” This one is quite dear to me, as my Dad was very excited when I opened up the back of the van, and I was very happy to share it with him, As 48 year’s previously I was sitting on his knee..... turbo33
Theres so much in this photo..father/son bonds that are clearly immense and our wonderful sport that fuels that relationship. Townies and those that seek to stop our way of life could learn a lot from this one picture. Thanks for sharing it.

yds
Truely a nice memory mate, cherish it. I lost my dad in august and think of him daily. The childhood memories the teenage memories where first airgun and then shotgun, he saw me shoot my first fox with a .243 squeaked in some 20 odd years ago. He came on my shoot some 5 years ago to watch a large duck drive and shot 3 duck for 5 shots with a 20b he had never fired before and hadn't shot for 10 years, his age then 84. That day my son my daughter mum dad and my darling wife where all there, what a day. Cherish these times and make them happen. regards john YDS Edited November 20, 2011 by yds
