markbivvy
my PC went bits up last Wednesday just after i had a post deleted for bad language, and digger had the same word deleted from his post. i was told by someone, it wont be tolerated. fair does. just had a look at the new threads since i have been of line, and the word is there, used by a long time member.and its been there since the 27 may.seems like a case of double standards to me. Cranfield
Teal's Notice, "Jokes, Derailments and Swearing", which is pinned at the top of General Banter still applies as far as I know. Its almost impossible for Moderators to read every single posting, as the site gets very busy and sometimes, there is only one Moderator about. If you wish to report the offending post, it will be dealt with.

Mungler
What about rhyming slang.... If you want to call someone a Berkshire Hunt, just go ahead and do it....
Cranfield
Why bother trying to find ways round the Rules. If what you post is unacceptable (incl rhyming slang), the Rules will probably change to take that into account. The "rhyming slang" chosen, refers to a word we don't see on here, not even as "mock bad language". Isn't it also claimed to be the most offensive swear word ? I doubt if it will be permitted. So the Moderators have more to do, more posts to check, more reasons for arguments and dissent, no doubt more warnings and a few suspensions. What great fun and what a positive way to be part of a Forum community.
