DIRTYHARRY
I'm after a semi auto, i'm not really sure on which one yet. I'll have a budjet around 400 quid. I know for a fact you can pick up a brand new escort 3" mag for this, BUT a lot think this gun is much to be desired. On the other hand i could spend the £400 on a second hand semi auto that obviously will have cost a lot more when brand new. What do you guys suggest? And suggested sales/guns would be nice too! Dr_evil
As said on another thread head to malmos, if you can push your budget a bit more they had a nice second hand Benelli SBE in camo and plenty of older ones at £400 or less
kent
I found a couple of Webley autos 2nd hand for two mates, they are both happy and the costs were below this. £400 will give you a good choice over the comming month and the end of the wildfowling season with no swapper
jmoz82
U can get a second hand franchi 712 raptor for around £450, u won't get a better semi for that sort of money, mine has been absolutley faultless !!!! http://www.GunStar.co.uk/Shotgun/Franchi-712-Raptor-Sport-gun-for-sale-gs46801.aspx Edited February 1, 2012 by jmoz82
Salop Matt
Benelli Berretta Browning Franchi Mossburg These would be what i would look for with Benelli at the top but for the budget look at older modles The Franchi is simlar to the Benelli so would be a good buy ! An old Browning B80 would be a good buy also http://www.gunstar.co.uk/Shotgun/Browning-B80-gun-for-sale-gs59134.aspx http://www.gunstar.co.uk/Shotgun/Browning-gun-for-sale-gs58755.aspx http://www.gunstar.co.uk/Shotgun/Browning-Gold-Sporting-Clays-gun-for-sale-gs57161.aspx http://www.gunstar.co.uk/Shotgun/Remington-12G-1100-Semi-Auto-gun-for-sale-gs49051.aspx http://www.gunstar.co.uk/Shotgun/Mossberg-935-gun-for-sale-gs56626.aspx http://www.gunstar.co.uk/Shotgun/Beretta-12G-A303-Sporter-Multi-choke-gun-for-sale-gs56034.aspx See theres plenty of choice ! billytheghillie
escort with 3 year warrany, no warranty on 2nd hand
Bry-M
Agree with billy here. There was a hatsan thread where owners posted their opinions (as opposed to people posting stories they'd heard down the pub). Vast majority of owners are happy with their purchase, it seemed only the first gen of semi's had issues. Gen 3 is out and the issues are resolved from what i can tell. Warranty is peace of mind as well!
jmoz82
escort with 3 year warrany, no warranty on 2nd hand U don't need warranty with a second hand franchi, beretta, benelli, browning, remington, mossburg because there built to last !!!! Mick Shaw
Remy 1100, you will never were one out !
Dekers
U don't need warranty with a second hand franchi, beretta, benelli, browning, remington, mossburg cuz there built to last !!!! But any RFD will give some sort of warranty anyway. The likes of Beretta give a 10 year warranty anyway, seems they are a bit more confident with their product than Hatsan with ONLY a 3 year warranty!
