mrfoxbuster
Sean Penn is just a d-bag moonbat. Don't pay any attention to him. IMO the easiest way to settle the Falklands dispute would be to park a carrier group right outside of the island chain. i agree buddy, the problem is we aint got a carrier group anymore :( :( :(

e2000e2000e
Falklands have never been anything but British, so we can't give 'back' anything! We don't need a carrier, we have an airfeild! The Argentines are using posturing over the Falklands as a distraction from there economic woes. Sean Penn should stick to acting, as he seems to know little of History.

Deke
Why does Sean Penn get media coverage? It's because he's an actor - a good one in my opinion. What has that to do with politics - absolutely **** all. We might as well ask John Doe (aka Joe Blogs) what he thinks about the Yanks invading Grenada. Don't give up the day job Sean... :look:

Dr_Scholl
True I think our bond with the states was a lot stronger then, Reagun was definitely behind us. I sense a lot of negativity from Baracko, he wouldn't lend us so much as a nato round were there to be a rematch I doubt it. As part of the START Treaty with Russia, he gave them the serial numbers and total numbers of Trident missiles you guys have on your subs. Between that and cancelling the Keystone XL pipeline with Canada, he's done a great job at alienating us from our allies.
gemini52
Had the radio on today at work and they were discussing the falklands, they reckon there are two major oil fields with a estimate of somthing like 112 billion barrels of oil waiting to be extracted, well with in the 200 mile exclusion zone, thats all the argies are interested in.
