Wildfowler
Because they are EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!! +1 I just bought one of these as my little Christmas treat and they are fantastic!! Next on the list is a new fowling hat, a new backpack (as mice got in the shed and ate a hole through my existing one), a new gun slip for fowling as my new maxus is a bit tight in the old one, and a pigeon magnet for the spring... Oh and a Colchester Triumph lathe so I can get on with making my punt gun... But that one might have to wait a couple of months!

ordnance
what calibre is this bad boy??45?? Yes i wouldn't buy a1911 style pistol in any other caliber. I like the 1911 as a classic pistol i have a 1911 but feel like a change. There are that many companies manufacturing them that its hard to choose. If money wasn't a issue something like the one below would be nice. Edited December 2, 2012 by ordnance

Salty
A 1000 cartridges, ear defenders, shooting jacket, and don't mention a new Benelli semi (must resist this one ) You will be a happier man when you own a Benelli. Do it !!
Salty
Out of interest, where do you guys use to buy? It really needs to be somewhere online as struggling with anywhere local. Thanks For guns, where ever the one I want comes up at the best price! I've bought off sellers on here, from local dealers, from not so local dealers, and from mates. If your local RFD is a bit of a turkey just look on here or GunTrader.
BerettaSV10
You will be a happier man when you own a Benelli. Do it !! Well I sold my benelli and ened up with a beretta A400 and a escort, strange how things change nearly a year later.
Salty
I hadn't clocked the date of your post lol. Why did you sell it, and does your wife know about the escort??
BerettaSV10
I bought the escort for a specific reason ie a wet weather gun and rough gun, and found my shooting improved drastically. I knew the crio had a shorter stock than I normally used to use and seamed to get on well with it, but at the time did not realise it was the shortness that was causing a problem. I could of gone down the lengthening of the stock, but the last time I started looking to improve the gun would need a full fitting. Took the escort out and even friends I shoot with commented on how well my shooting had improved (after the micky taking of buying a escort). Recently traded in the SP! sporter as was not using it to the full for the A400 excel kick off as I prefer using s/a's now and if I start shooting comps at least I can use the A400 as my escort is in camo flavor and not allowed in comps due to the camo. As I am single no wife to support, just what the pension allows me to spend and the shooting is winning the war at the moment.
