bullet boy
Get a Harris! Don't buy any of these Cheaper models as IMO you'll regret it.Also if you can afford it get the Swivel model.

seeker
And if you get the swivel one get a Pod-lock. Easier than mole grips, skinned knuckles, scraped stock etc. Think there's someone on here does them
aister
what about shooters ridge bipods, anyone use them?
Dekers
If you are confident that shooting is for you and long term then get a Harris, plenty of choice but not cheap, and make sure you get a swivel version, and unless you only ever intend Benchrest get something a little bigger than the 6-9" models! Actually, even if you are not sure shooting is for you get a Harris anyway, they are the best and will always have a good residual value if you do give up on the shooting! artschool
agree with the comments about Harris and swivel, I have a 6-9 and. it's good quality. it depends on the terrain you are shooting over. I use a set of sticks more than anything.

Beardo
I have a half dozen bipods (mostly Harris, but some cheap etc) and by far the best one I have is the Edgar Bros 9-13 swivels, far better than the Harris equivalent

adam f
I've got a Harris, but from what I've seen the deben / shooters ridge etc copies are also pretty good - so why is the Harris so much better?

station
I have a half dozen bipods (mostly Harris, but some cheap etc) and by far the best one I have is the Edgar Bros 9-13 swivels, far better than the Harris equivalent They are a cracking bipod I have had chinese cheap ones to Harris - not so cheap, but the EB one is pure quality (and still £20 plus cheaper than Harris) ATB
