If you are confident that shooting is for you and long term then get a Harris, plenty of choice but not cheap, and make sure you get a swivel version, and unless you only ever intend Benchrest get something a little bigger than the 6-9" models!

 

Actually, even if you are not sure shooting is for you get a Harris anyway, they are the best and will always have a good residual value if you do give up on the shooting!

I have a half dozen bipods (mostly Harris, but some cheap etc) and by far the best one I have is the Edgar Bros 9-13 swivels, far better than the Harris equivalent

 

They are a cracking bipod :good:

 

I have had chinese cheap ones to Harris - not so cheap, but the EB one is pure quality :yes:

(and still £20 plus cheaper than Harris)
