THIS THREADS GONE OFF TRACK PEOPLE!!!!:lol::lol:

To get back to the question.

Don't buy a Beretta for all of the reasons given previously.

Don't buy a Cynergy for Christ's sake  Prime example of form over function and the composite one has a comb that'll cut your face in half :yes: .....My mate has one  The action is stiffer than Gary Glitter at a boyscout convention ;) . Bobbins gun IMHO.

If we are getting back on track then,

The reason i prefer Brownings is because of the deeper action and fuller grip,

My bro in law had a 682 Gold E, just felt wrong, too slim and fragile,

Ive noticed the new Browning 725 has a shallower action but not as bad as the Beretta, maybe they are changing design?

:shaun:

At the end of the day its what YOU feel happy with.

I keep flirting with Berettas but always go back to my Miroku :good:

I suppose it's what you're used to,but I must say Berettas these days are way too light compared to some of the older models they used to make

A Gold E I tried for a while felt like LWT Game Gun instead of a 32" Sporter, fine if you're used to handling light things, but with a bit of weight behind it you're going to have more control over your swing :good:

I reckon I must have an unusually long neck because every time I shoulder a Beretta I see loads of rib which I find off putting as it feels like I've got to shoot well below the target to hit it, whereas with Miroku or Browning (or even my Benelli S/A) they come up a lot flatter.

I wouldnt mind shooting a Beretta as I like their 'feel' but I dont think I could without spending a lot on having it fitted.

Wonder if my GP can chop a coupple of inches of my neck :hmm::lol:

I started with a Miroku 28", then moved to a Browning 325 30" and have still got it but bought a Beretta 682 Gold E 30" - all nice guns and I liked them all for different reasons.

Whatever you end up getting, make sure you get it properly fitted by someone who knows what they're doing. I went to Holland & Holland and got my own personal gun fit specification......a few quid but it was worth every penny. Expensive guns miss just as much as cheap ones if they don't fit the person pulling the trigger.....

Got Brownings and Berettas.

The Cynergy with the weird recoil pad hurts if you shoulder inaccurately.

Get the Cynergy classic trap with adjustable comb...its very good for sporting too.

I have the similar Ultra XTR trap...32" 12G...don't be put of that it's a 'trap' gun.

Try one!

The adjustable comb helps ensure a better fit.
