Had a couple last Thursday night at a 100yds paced, good clean headshots and I was well chuffed when I heard that unmistakable thud. I'm using a CZ Silhouette, Hawke 3x9x50 set on it's lowest mag and Eley subsonic hollow extra.

How far out have you taken them with a .22 rimfire?

What is your zero distance ?

I've shot them out to 130yds with a .22.

Not going to claim headshots and wasn't trying for a headshot either.

Probably done it on half a dozen occasions over the last 30 years.

Well obviously I'm considerably better than you.... :P

Just pullin' yer ****** mate.... :)

I'm out tomorrow night, gonna try for a longer range head shot.....wish me luck....

TBH I was more expecting someone to be complaining I don't have enough respect for my quarry than someone claiming to be better.

Most of my shots are more like 50yds, a fair few are considerably closer. My sights are set for 45yds as that's where the rabbits usually are.

It is very satisfying to hit them at silly distances though. :)
