bedwards1966
In answer to does chrome react with brass, I understand not. Ignore the comments on here about snap caps, it's a serious problem on this forum when it gets brought up - a search will reveal why and all the opinions for and against them. As you've got some keep using them.

Sharpshooter.123
I heard some people like to use spent cases as snap caps to help springs
chady
Surely a snap cap is there to take the pressure of the springs.... So why don't people like them What harm can they Do?

Imperfection
Isnt it time these words were added to the swear filter because you just know this thread is gonna end in tears (im being serious).
Blackpowder
Keep them, and use them to test ejector function on used guns. you're spot on there and useful for dry practice. Blackpowder
Thunderbird
Isn't it actually time for the same old very boring and tedious responses to actually end? As any fule kno, they're probably not necessary in modern guns but are an eminently sensible precaution in an older gun which might have vulnerable springs or firing pins. OK so you don't use them in your 682 Gold E but sweeping generalisations to 'bin them' are at best misleading.
