It's a very good film. Very sad ending but what's interesting is why it's sad. If it was the concentration camp internees being gassed we'd think "sad" and move on as we've seen it before. Move a non Jewish child from out with the camp and have them gassed and it's suddenly much sadder, especially with the parent dynamic. Tis very clever.

They say that you have to keep reminding people about these horrible events in the hope that it stops it from happening again all that I can say is it dose not work just look what the Israelis are doing to the Palestinians but then we are not allowed to say that.

 

No need to look to foreign influences fella. Look a lot closer to home and look what we done during the Boer War reference concentration camps ect. Kitcheners record read something like 38% of woman and children put in them died in them during his scorched earth campaign. Not quite up to old Adolfs record but I do believe Kitchener set the benchmark. Excellent book to read about the war if your interested is Good Bye Dolly Gray.
