I might even leave it until the sunday to be honest but i have not even looked at the tide times as yet...any idea?

Thinking about getting across to the welsh side a bit more this season if you fancy it....

cheers

Tide on the first is 9.4m @ 09.21 (Sharpness), so looks good for an early flight followed by a tide flight. Was mooching on the other side today, found about a dozen canada's and a handful of Mallard on 3 marshes, so pretty quiet!

I will be over the other side a fair bit too this year, will try to get myself to grips with Lydney as i have only been there once. We will have to meet up for a flight, will look forward to it mate.

Hi Kent, Excuse my ignorance, the 2nd falls on a Sunday and we cant shoot wildfowl on a Sunday in Scotland can you do so in Englandshire?

Some where around Loch Fleet or maby decoying on a grass field nearby

BBL

Correct but it might not be England it could be Wales (another non country like Scotland) depending on which side of the Estuary we shoot

Still waiting for Natural England to make up their mind whether we can shoot the marsh we have been on for over 25 years or not.

Applied for renewal in February - still waiting.

Promised a communication this week - three days left...

Good luck on that & hope all goes your way :good: I wonder if the RSPB have any influence involved over Natural England decision ? :hmm:

Have you seen much about on the harbours yet? I was in Chi doing some dog training a couple of weeks back and there was very little about.

Plenty of Canada's about, the ducks are just starting to head out towards the harbour to feed. Still a few very young ducklings about too...
