So we ended up on my primary foxing land had quite a few of here in the last few years but 1st one this year as the corn has only just come down had a few calls nothing so decided to move not moved more than 100 yrds and clocked set of mince pies in the lamp bingo engine off .223 out and on bonnet tried to call but just sat there with not a care in the world could not really id it 100 per cent with filter on after a few mins decided to whip red filter off and have a crack at him cracking shot as well my best night time with the .223 lazered it 225 straight in engine room drop the big dog foxes stone dead so sat here very chuffed with my self and my lamp man Paul .

Aye, my ears are still ringing Tony but, what a way to end the night when that big old boy showed himself.

No doubt you're still beaming from ear to ear after that kill - a lovely shot, square in the middle of the chest, he just crumpled on the spot. It was good of him to sit up nice n straight for you.

Just need to go back on a darker night now and see if we can take care of those other two that were skulking about earlier-on.

ATB Flyn ye your right pal, ive learned over the years there are quite a few different impact noises, the thud is a chest hit,the whop is a belly hit, the head hit does realy sound like sumet i cant explain, but i do cringe when ive herd it....
