swiss.tony Posted September 5, 2012 Report Share Posted September 5, 2012 Just got back from a couple of hrs out with paul aka "penfolilo" i hate this moon wish it wood *** off its playing havoc with are lamping appalling conditions lucky if you can get 100 yrds on a rabbit any way not a lot about we had sin 2 foxes about 10 pm but they kept well out of range 5 too 6 hundred yrds and wood not call in so left them be , So we ended up on my primary foxing land had quite a few of here in the last few years but 1st one this year as the corn has only just come down had a few calls nothing so decided to move not moved more than 100 yrds and clocked set of mince pies in the lamp bingo engine off .223 out and on bonnet tried to call but just sat there with not a care in the world could not really id it 100 per cent with filter on after a few mins decided to whip red filter off and have a crack at him cracking shot as well my best night time with the .223 lazered it 225 straight in engine room drop the big dog foxes stone dead so sat here very chuffed with my self and my lamp man Paul . No doubt you're still beaming from ear to ear after that kill - a lovely shot, square in the middle of the chest, he just crumpled on the spot. It was good of him to sit up nice n straight for you.
