Ratman2
Wasn't Andrew second in line to the throne when he saw service in the Falklands? He wasn't 75 miles 'behind the lines' but right in the thick of it. I doubt Harry will be any different. Well said poontang, gets right up my **** when people slag the Royals off. And to all you who knock Prince Harry, why not get off your *****, join up to the Army, do your training and ask to be sent over there. digger
Hope this thread doesnt degenerate into another Royalist / traitor slanging match. We all know those who mock the Royal Family work any bank hol dedicated to them. Not
hedd-wyn
Got nothing against the boy though I am very anti royal, as far as im concerned they're just parasites sucking off all of us. But given his position I'd be flat out party time all the time, that thing in Vegas would be nothing more than normal, let's face it he's rolling in money (most of it ours) and has little to no chance of ever making the throne so therefore has sweet FA to loose. I do however worry for the guys serving with him as there will no doubt be a price on his head, it just puts whoever is working with him in more danger. Bang- On. Laird Lugton
Best of luck to him. If he's trained to fly an Apache and being sent to a war zone it's because he's good enough to do the job. I seem to remember Prince Edward not cutting the mustard with the Marines so the MOD Isn't afraid of cutting them loose. I suspect the guys serving with him are not fussed in the slightest that he may attract Taliban attention, in fact the opposite is probably the case as they will want to take the fight to the Taliban. billytheghillie
So that's twice you've posted now on a thread about someone you don't care about or have any time for. As said, very odd behaviour! Personally I feel it will be a great moral boost for the lads out there, and I'm sure that while kept away from the really hairy stuff, he'll not want to be sat on his **** polishing apaches! I do think it foolish to broadcast his presence until he gets back though! why is it odd? its a forum, and members are encouraged to join in topics! digger
how are they encouraged? do the mods pm you and ask you to comment on topics you are not interested in? odd cubed
Vince Green
Actually its not good. As co-pilot/ gunner in an Apache he will be taking life on a daily basis and that could make him a security risk for the rest of his life as he has not got the anonimity afforded to normal aircrew members. Muggins.
I`ve had my doubts as to wether Harry has ever been to the front line but i`m not going to loose any sleep worrying about it and nor should you. I personally think he`s a breath of fresh air, he has a devil may care, rebel attitude that many have warmed to. Good on the kid. I`ve never been a royalist but he definately has my vote. Chally2
I don't normally bite at these inane comments offered by the mirror/sun readers here who base their opinion as if it is fact but actually based on 0% evidence and what can only be seen as utter jealousy and bitterness. I know a bit more on this subject than any one of you, and you have it so so wrong.

jasper3
good luck to the lad, not the 1st time he has been out there, can,t really see that they will keep him out the way of danger, he is there to do a job with a very expensive piece of kit I would have thought letting his brother pluck people out of the sea and from cliff edges is also pretty dangerous, ok not being shot at, but still dangerous I take my hat off to these two lads, they have done more in opening up the royals than the rest put together
