Amazed
Hi all. Went out for a bit lastnight with the lamp to see what fox life was about on my two new fields, took the rimmy just incase I spotted any rabbits. Shot two 3/4 grown on the way back to the car and they both had small sores above the eyes on the Top lid Haven't got a pic. I was wondering as I haven't seen a rabbit with mixy for about 10 years. Is it on the increase or just isolated pockets? Thanks Karl.
Drayman
Around here (Surrey) it is seasonal and appears to be affected by the weather. We often see an outbreak about now but it's here all the time.
mad1
I had 3 of my permissions really hit hard last year with it ... This year they seem to be clean but I don't think they are back in as big a population as they were 2 year ago ?!?

Greenhunter
Wiped out round where I live last winter(Audlem, Cheshire). Shot 11 last week in Whitchurch area(6 miles away), 2 had signs of having had it or just starting with it:( . This is the second time in three years that that permission has been hit. Scully
Expected to see mixi earlier in the year with the warm, wet weather, but have only started seeing affected rabbits in the last few weeks.
Gimlet
We had a spring outbreak and so far this year I'm down about 40% on numbers shot against last year. I also think the cold wet summer has slowed breeding. Don't seem to have shot nearly the number of junveniles this year or pregnant does. pigeonblasterian
There was a bad mixi outbreak on one of the places i go to about three months ago.Thankfully it now looks all clear with a few healthy looking rabbits about.Just got to manage it properly now so i always have a few to shoot. ETO
Loads here in Notts. Had to have the dog put one out of it's misery the other day. (I couldn't do it) He was utterly confused as to why it wasn't running away from him.
