I have a couple of files on the PC that I want to hide as they are a list of Xmas presents and dont want SWMBO to come across them..

Is there any way I can hide them...tried last year to put deep into the hard drive but since it had a couple of pics of coats etc in there it came up when she uploaded photos from her phone and I had to start again...

Any idea??

This is what i use to keep accounts and staff information safe on my server and its free.

Or password protect the file.

There is an option in MS word, excel to protect document. Just don't forget password as you can't get around it

play with visual basic and you can get around it but I think only on older versions Edited by Willxx

I got a memory stick and used that to keep all my...erm, stuff private. ;)

If it's a christmas list, could you not put it in an email and then save the email in the drafts folder? After that you can access it by going into your email, which I presume only you have the password to.
