Zapp
Yes yes, I'm a grammar Nazi, but I do wonder why are these online petition things so attractive to people who cannot spell or use punctuation?
unapalomablanca
If gas guns go there are 2 ways of looking at it. 1. More requirement for shotgunners. or 2. More weight given to curb the real thing. I hate petitions, they seem so pointless and just get lip service then slung in the bin. I hope this one goes in the bin, as food production needs all the help it can get, not do-gooding busybodies who think the world revolves around their poxy little needs!!! Reece
If these people would be willing to pay extra for food, then it would work. But I don't think most people would want to pay a tenner for a loaf of bread, which would happen without bird scarers and/or shooting. Reece
sorry but that statement is utter rubbish! It was an exaggeration. Not sure about what the prices would be but prices would go up without bird scarers.

But I don't think most people would want to pay a tenner for a loaf of bread, which would happen without bird scarers and/or shooting. Not just bread prices affected by a poor wheat crop...meat, breakfast cereals, paper + corrugated board, beer & cider, confectionery, construction materials..all made with wheat derivatives...and if the price of wheat goes up so does the price of corn...
