rwade545
try a sherwood forest jacket, got a gadwall and it does everything i want for under £100. Water proof, warm as can be, looks as good as any others I have had and is silent non rustle material. If your using it for ruff shooting ( or as ruff as i go) things are always getting torn so i didnt want to spend a lot. For £150 you could get it and matching trousers too, so for £250 jacket, trousers, boots and a shirt and tie. Thats what i've done. can send you pics if you want? let me know. It is a great jacket and got the misses one too i was that impressed.

rtaylor
It's over budget but I can't recommend the Musto Whisper jacket enough. Maybe check ebay for a second hand one.
OddJob
I bought a Seeland coat and it is excellent. I have a gilet to go with it as well, all for well under your budget. Great kit and often you can pick it up on here for cheapness.

Alycidon
Kammo. Practically unbreakable. Had mine for over 10 years, maybe nearer 15, wear it every day in winter, still water tight and warm. Might well be over budget but money well spent. Dicky Knee
There are still quite a few sales on. Have a look at www.outofthecity.co.uk or if you find a specific jacket you want Google it to find a deal.

ro51ter
Came back from sportsman last after trying on deerhunter DXO Bushwood jacket. The fit was perfect, anyone know much about these? Is it going to look a little OTT at a clay ground on a cold morning?
badg3r
Suspect no one will mind. John Norris has a sale on their Seeland stuff at the mo, so might be worth a gander there.
