david_r
I've just purchased a Tikka T3 Varmint and am looking to mount a scope with 56mm objective, 30mm tube. I called a local RFD, and was advised that the Optilocks would not work as the objective is too big(?) They advised that Warne (high) mounts would be OK. They turned up. Packaging states max objective size 52mm. Tried them anyway, and they don't work :( Anybody have any ideas/solutions? Thanks.
Beretta28g
I use Warne no problems, I think their extra high tho
V8 90
Optilocks - I had a T3 Varmint with a 3-12x56 in Optilocks no problems - have a look on Tikka or Sako's web site, all the info is on there.

steve_b_wales
I use Optilocks on my Tikka T3 Lite, with a 56mm objective scope. No problems at all.
digit
I use these on my Tikka T3, alot cheaper and you can use standard scope mount. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sportsmatch-RB4-TIKKA-CZ-Adapter-Rails-scope-mounts-/300622092490?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item45fe7918ca

Redgum
Doesnt the Tikka come with free mounts, mine did. I have the medium mounts that are a bit high for a 50mm objective, it you had lows I'd do ya a swop, mine are as good as new.
Dekers
Sportsmatch offer a dovetail adaptor and then you can fit any mounts you like rather than Sako/Tikka specific. Much cheaper option than Optilock. Something else to think about!
