Thinking about .22 hornet

Recommended Posts

So just after looking on some scopes and i am in the pickle.

i did look at (and thru) MTC Taipan 4-16x50 ir for 280 gbp

and nikko stirling diamand 2,5-10x50 and it is so much better than MTC and for 185 gbp its not bad.

need to look thru more scopes and at last make decision . gun is in my cabinet for 2 weeks and stil not fired.

hope mamba lite is going to be beter than taipan and its only 44mm front lense so it will seat low.

how about thise one. 175 gbp

They are thin on the ground on second hand market. I was going to buy one just for a look see but the ones that do surface are top dollar.

:whistling: I was taking the mickey. I don't know why I did, but I offered Alendil mine at a very reasonable price but he declined. Somewhat pleased now though as as I wouldn't have backed out of the deal, the Ruger is on song for fox and I'm seriously thinking of doing a njc and swapping the barrel of that one to 17 Hornet.

Sorry to go off topic for a minute, but can anyone confirm the story that I've heard that Hull Cartridge are no longer importing powder burners by Weihrauch because of potential retail cost?

:whistling: Couldn't you find one that was already a complete package - at the end of the day it would have probably saved you a small fortune and you'd have already been up and running. :whistling:

The offer was good and if finances will be bit beter i will go for it .

i have to say at thye moment my cz and mod and cut is going to be much cheaper. ( i did get deben bipod and month old night eater from friend who is finishing shooting and lot cost me 40 gbp it was partly birthday gift )

Glad to see that you're finally up and running. ;)
