60mph High Pheasant - My last Day at Powis Castle

My last day at Powis Castle and one of the best day's shooting have had this season. The Go Pro 3 Headcam failed to record the two best drives ( just got a black picture) its done this 4 or 5 times now so it must be faulty. The first drive I had to rely on the dog cam and a back cam but the video does get better. By the last drive the wind was 30 mph plus and the Pheasants were more like spitfires ( too good for me !!) . I'm guessing they must have been flying at 50-60mph. I've got one more Powis video to edit from last week and then that's it for this season. Hope you enjoy

You have had some very fine day's shooting this season and you considered the last to be the best simply because the birds were difficult. I agree with you on that point and there is no disgrace in missing such fantastic birds.

On the last drive, particularly with the fast birds on your left, it looked as though you were guessing where to aim. One bird you must have given ten yards lead.
