rayhallam
hi, i've had one of these for about 3 years now and had no trouble at all. i get about 5 hours out of a 7 amp hour battery which i also bought of aa at the same time. 1 i've still got and going strong the 2nd one died some time ago. run mine on the slower speed and the wind doesn't seem to slow it much at all. never ran it with dead birds as the ones aa supplied look fine and pull the pigeons in,by the way the 7 ah battery from aa seem to be the cheapest about as well ray Edited March 20, 2013 by rayhallam

RobC1990
mine snapped at the bottom where it attaches onto the ground stake so cut the thin tube metal off and welded a solid steel bar instead hopefully will last bit longer than 30 seconds! THE GRIFF
whats rpm got to do with it do the pigeon say o look at that is only going at 160 rpm ime not goin near that and fly off lolYes, you answered your own question. I have a magnet I have just blown the speed controller in it and spins far too fast without it, you can't even tell they are pigeons it goes that fast. I also bought a new seeland one a few weeks ago I sent back because it went too slow, it just looked pathetic.
