HGV is also a good feather in the cap if wanting to emigrate LG

me and my lad
have got my C, and C+E. had ADR (hazchem) but let it lapse. 14 years ago i was earning around £500 pw delivering new trailers, didnt need to use tacho as it was the trailer itself we delivered, long hours but was easy peasy. when i used to drive the best money by far was on tankers, dont know what work carries the best rates nowadays. tankers can be very easy work. the hardest thing used to be getting your first job, mine was shunting carbon powder used to get slightly black
Heppy1148
Yes i agree, i have C, C+E and i have heard that tanker driving brings in the best. But you do need your ADR (HAZMAT - hazardous materials), i mean petrollium tankers and you will need to do the "In Tanks" package too after your HAZMAT cse. Just remember that i am just going off hearsay though. I hope this helps, any more i can give then just PM me. Take care and all the best. mel b3
i'm a hgv driver and i work for a local authority so i'm tacho exempt , i drive on a log book but i'm still supposed to stick to domestic hours unless i'm in the middle of some kind of emergency , i also from time to time drive forklifts , diggers and a telehandler , driving other plant and machinery sort of comes with the territory.
