jam1e
I've order around half a dozen times from midway uk in the last 12 months. Most were ok, but a few took a couple of weeks to arrive. I rang them twice about seperate deliveries being late. Both times i spoke to a blunt uninterested bloke.

I'd use them next time have most parts for the gun.
telf
i have ordered and received various bits and pieces from them and must say there customer service leaves alot to be desired, some things come on time others i think must come from the USA as you can wait ages for them, the people on the end of the phone are very unhelpful and are among the most miserable b******* i have ever spoken to

Cannon
I think Midway uk is operated by one person only who then orders the stuff from Midway USA when he receives an order. It's not even a shop. Rather someones back room or office.

Markbrowning
As far as I know, Midway UK hold no stock. ALL items come from the USA. Hense the delay and fixed flat rate shipping. Quids in if you order a job load, but the one time I wanted to use them I refused to pay £12 shipping for what was a Nut.

Your only in Stratford so why didn't you just go down to his place? It's not far from Stratford at all.

It's worse than that blaster, it's half a mile from my local rifle range! I asked if i could pick up my comparator as i live so close. The miserable B****** just grunted words to the effect that he didn't have a shop as sorts just a "dispatch" warehouse. Sounded total ******** to me, he just realised he'd lose out on an extra tenner from rip-off postal charges!.....
OvEr_KiLL
another thing, why does it say 'in stock' if he still has to get them from USA its a bit misleading as you would think they would be in stock in UK!!! edit. and yes he is a miserable sod on the phone, doesnt seem to know much either! aris
If you look at the video section of the midway USA site, there are some interviews with Larry Potterfield - the CEO and founder. He waxes on about hs customer service and how good it is. Why don't you send him a email to complain - perhaps he will do something about it. There are also some very interesting gun smithing tutorials there too. Edited March 27, 2013 by aris

gunner269
Midway Uk is run by Pete Starley, who also runs a Black Powder shooting business, which seems to take up much of his time. If I need parts for my Ruger, I always deal with Roger, at SYSS. He is always polite and knowledgable.
