Hello all, im so ****** of at midway uk at the moment, ordered 3 parts for my ruger 10/22 as its stoped working, all parts in stock paid around £10 for delivery on 3 small gun internal parts.

Hadnt recived anything by yesterday even though there website says it was dispatched on 15th, looked today now says dispatched by parcel force 24hr so guessing it hadnt been dispatched before, tryed emailing no reply, tryed phoning them, there lines are close for anual holiday untill the 2/4/13 thats a week away.

I cant wait to get hold of them on the phone as i havnt been able to use my gun now for 2 weeks

I've order around half a dozen times from midway uk in the last 12 months. Most were ok, but a few took a couple of weeks to arrive. I rang them twice about seperate deliveries being late. Both times i spoke to a blunt uninterested bloke.

i have ordered and received various bits and pieces from them and must say there customer service leaves alot to be desired, some things come on time others i think must come from the USA as you can wait ages for them, the people on the end of the phone are very unhelpful and are among the most miserable b******* i have ever spoken to

Try these for 10/22 parts, phoned for parts one afternoon and delivered through door next day. What you after?

I think Midway uk is operated by one person only who then orders the stuff from Midway USA when he receives an order. It's not even a shop. Rather someones back room or office.

That sound about right with my experience of them you always speak to the same bored guy. And it takes along time to get even simple things.

That will be Pete you spoke to. Your only in Stratford so why didn't you just go down to his place? It's not far from Stratford at all.

It's worse than that blaster, it's half a mile from my local rifle range! I asked if i could pick up my comparator as i live so close. The miserable B****** just grunted words to the effect that he didn't have a shop as sorts just a "dispatch" warehouse. Sounded total ******** to me, he just realised he'd lose out on an extra tenner from rip-off postal charges!.....

another thing, why does it say 'in stock' if he still has to get them from USA its a bit misleading as you would think they would be in stock in UK!!!

edit. and yes he is a miserable sod on the phone, doesnt seem to know much either!

If you look at the video section of the midway USA site, there are some interviews with Larry Potterfield - the CEO and founder. He waxes on about hs customer service and how good it is. Why don't you send him a email to complain - perhaps he will do something about it.

There are also some very interesting gun smithing tutorials there too.
