Martin&Oakley
Hi all, I have just received my 12 pigeon decoys from fleabay. They look good, however 6 of them have cracked beaks. I have just messaged the seller, what should I do if she mugs me off and won't replace them?
BSA-airgunner
There is a fella on there selling damaged decoys broken beaks .....have you checked the description .. Edited April 11, 2013 by BSA-airgunner
steve_b_wales
Open a dispute case with Paypal/Ebay. If the goods are not in good condition, you can claim a refund, including the cost if you have to send them back. Don't leave it too long to do it though. To be honest, the damaged beaks should make no difference when decoying.
JDog
Incoming pigeons will not notice whether the decoys have damaged beaks or not.
Martin&Oakley
It's not the broken ones. The description didn't mention any damage.I didn't think it would make much difference, but to be sold faulty products winds me right up.Got them from ************************************************************ Edited April 11, 2013 by Cranfield Removed Sellers name, see my post below. Cranfield
I have removed the name of the Seller. In fairness, before publishing the name of the Seller they should be contacted and given a chance to put things right. The decoys could easily have been damaged in transit and the seller unaware. However, I agree with the others comments that damaged beaks are not going to effect the decoys efficiency. If they are close enough to see the beaks, they should be dead. Asa Bear
If they are close enough to see the beaks, they should be dead. Inform the seller, see what they come back with and let us know their reply.

Martin&Oakley
Well I just had a knock at the door. Postie just handed me a package. Inside I find 6 flocked pigeon decoys. the eBay seller has kindly sent me 6 replacements, so I now have 12 normal decoys, 6 flocked decoys and the crow decoy I found. I'm stunned she upgraded me for free. Very very nice of her.

Uncle Albert
If superglue doesn't work try plumbers plastic pipe cement then hold the beaks together with tape till set. Edited April 30, 2013 by Uncle Albert
