It's at the top of the shooting videos section, might be a waste of time though, certainly was the last time I bought from there a few weeks ago, shame because there kit is good but delivery is expensive so a few quid off would help

a1 decoys are good mate

Yes, have bouhgt quite a few things from them and got my 12 flocked shell decoys delivered yesterday! :yahoo: Very good! no worries about any shine or reflection, dont know how long the flock coating will last, but will just have to look after them to get the long term life from them.

The postage is £8.50 on all items. Most people don't want to buy whole set ups, but would rather just buy a couple of items to stock up on a few extra decoys, or a net or something. You then find about that you are having 30% added on the price for shipping and you can't be bothered anymore.

For instance let's buy a single Silo-sock 3d head for £1.50. You then have 500% of the price added for shipping (£8.50) Bring the price up to £10.00. I'm sure if I e-mailed them and asked nicely they would knock the price of postage down, but if I'm going to go to that much effort I'd rather just drive to the shop or look at another website.

It's a killer, but people are very wary of the price of postage these days (Thanks, E-bay). Nobody likes to give their business to websites that feel like they are taking the mick, and though it may not be there intention it has certainly stopped me for ordering in the past, when I know that the cost of postage isn't anywhere close to what they are charging.

That is a fair comment , having run a check on post and packaging costs with four different Suppliers, I have found that the "box cost" for consolidated smaller items, or a single large item like a rotary, varies from £7.99 to £11.47, with UKSW at £8.50.

As you said, the UKSW website does state, "Delivery charges will be added to the cost of the order during the checkout process prior to entry of payment details. Currently our delivery charge is £8.50 per box order. (For small Items you can call us for a postal quote)."

I have bought many things from UKSW over the years, do all my ordering by telephone and make sure I am aware (and am happy to accept) what the P&P charges are before concluding the business.

I can only suggest that others do the same, whichever Supplier you use.
