sitsinhedges
Couldn't miss the opportunity for an hour against the downwind side of the wood in this strong wind to get a few pigeon. Took the Hushpower so I didn't get a nice gun wet, along with my homeloads. Had 5 woodies and a crow through gaps in the canopy, then got told off for shooting pigeons in May by an old pensioner when I went back to my van. He said it was OK to shoot magpies and crows anytime though I didn't take it to heart, I showed him how quiet the gun was and told him why even though I agreed with him they still need shooting from a farming point of view. He recounted some of his shooting stories and we ended up shaking hands before I left.

Underdog
It was good how you turned a negative conversation around, well done. So did you shoot a round to show him? U.

sitsinhedges
Steel would be far too fast to bother. Plastic wads tend to get mashed up I avoid them.
Guest cookoff013
steel would be the worst thing to shoot though these, too many negative points, plaswads, no hitting power at range. etc.
