HDAV
Fox loads no problem ( at sensible ranges) but slugs are not recommended for deer and getting a condition for such would be nigh impossible Fox loads no problem ( at sensible ranges) but slugs are not recommended for deer and getting a condition for such would be nigh impossible

HDAV
Thats all I needed to know... so a bb load would do for foxes? At sensible range yes, as there is no lead ban for foxes you might find some older loads cheap that can't be used for fowling. robbiep
My better half has killed a fox at about 30 yds with 28g of No.5 before now ... Eley VIP Hi-Flyer load, I think. Was stone dead too, didn't require finishing off with a second shot
Lord Geordie
lap. Gamebore do a 12g 36g BB load iirc and is not badly priced. Around £9 for 25. I have a box of 10 magnum BB I bought. Since losing my perm over 2 year ago I have only been out once on the pigeons so they are sadly sat till I get to use them. We bowled a few foxes over with my old eley alphamax #3 in the past.
