kennett
Births do often follow hornings, especially if they are big enough to make holes in tents!
proud dad
I normally find people who find fault with spelling a bit sad, but the way that is spelt is quite funny. It just needs leaks to be spelt as leeks for the full house. Edited June 29, 2013 by proud dad

Thunderbird
I normally find people who find fault with spelling a bit sad, but the the way that is spelt is quite funny. I'm no spelling nazi, but what I find sad is that somebody can be so pig-ignorant to think that when attempting to sell (or buy) something, that spelling doesn't matter. I have a policy, on eBay for example, that has served me very well on over 1000 transactions, and that is that if someone is functionally illiterate, to give them a wide berth (or even birth). Also, public pedantry isn't always attractive I grant you, what I find sad is when people use the work 'sad' to mean "actually more knowledgeable than me." They are the same kind of people who use the phrase "get a life."

I for one cannot spell to save my life I am fare from being thick but what people do not understand is if you are bad at spelling quite often it is imposable to find the correct spelling of a word computer spell checker will give you options but what is the correct one for the context that you are using it also if you cannot spell a word how can you look up how to spell it. When I was young it worried me terribly what other people thought but now I do not care just as long as I can get over to people what I want to say I tend to think if other people have nothing better to do with there time than make fun of others for something that they cannot help then I feel sorry for them. junctiontwo
What really grinds my gears is text-speak. I don't know if it's laziness, the inability to grasp basic English or a combination of both. I honestly despair for the future of this country......
