Dunkield
We are off on ours tonight, although I work for a huge company we buddy up with another samll department and decide between us where we want to go, as we get a per head budget and spend it however we want. So, this year we are off to our favourite pub for a bit of food and as much beer as it possible to drink in 5 1/2 hours

Its always a relaxed informal do with friends invited as well and everyone enjoys it.

Dead-Eyed Duck
I took a party of 40 to a large corporate party last year. One of my customers took two of his 'executives'. One got so p****** ed that he went round to all the other guests saying that his boss was an absolute ars*****ole to work for, and was a tight ******* as well. He left shortly afterwards. His other guest was a single male, and fancied a smart blond on the dance floor. Whereupon her boyfriend appeared and told him to back off. Whereupon the guest hit the boyfriend ("Thought that I might as well smack him first before he smacked me!"). Whereupon he got dragged off by the bouncers. He survived, and got promoted. Just taken a similar party, and to everyone's annoyance everything went off very well :( Don

Hodmedod.one
I work for the largest chemical company in the world DOW CHEMICAL. When I joined 20 years ago, there was a Christmas meal and booze up, all free. We got a hamper that was so big you could easily end up with a back injury trying to carry it to the car. They used to give the social club a sh*tpot full of money so all our kids could go to a party/panto and have prezzies. Gradually it has all gone. Finally last year they even stopped sending out Crimbo cards. As you may have guessed we are a happy bunch Just as an added bonus, I am on nights Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
