Chris 1985
Started shooting with a lesson on the clays in January. It took four months to get my SGC, which I spent flogging stuff on the evil bay and saving up. Finally bought my first gun today. It's a mint condition Miroku MK60. Went to look at it on the weekend and it felt really nice. Took it out for a test today and shot 19/20, which is amazing by my standards! So, the deal was done and now it's sitting in my cabinet. I'm like a kid on Xmas morning now, can't wait to get back out with it! Atb Chris

I've just got mine too and my cabinet has a nice Miroku 800 and Franchi Falconet sat in it, ready to go blasting clays this Friday.
Chris 1985
Cheers guys. Its good to know I can go shooting when I feel like it, rather than having to borrow other people's guns. Animal mother - I like your thinking, two first guns!
beanieboy
The older Miroku guns were very well built - I have a black action 800 skeet gun and it is superb. You would be hard pressed to get a modern gun built to the same standard for less than a couple of grand.
Cosd
Well done, it's a great feeling isn't it!! You haven't told us how many times you've cleaned it? and also how many times you've taken it out the cabinet to clean it, only to put it back a while later because it didn't need cleaning? Chris 1985
I've only cleaned it once. Honest....

Bet I still love it if it shoots pigeons from the sky though;) Not necessarily. Plenty of nice guns out there for very little money. My other half's gun cost £350 (Miroku), but mine cost £18! I'm also picking another one up next week for £75! All good guns.

At least it feels that way it drags on so long.

arjimlad
The correct number of guns is ascertained by a mathematical formula familiar to most shooters. N +1 Where N is the number of guns currently owned. The figure 1 can be substituted with 2, 3, or whatever, really. The formula is still valid.
