FOXHUNTER1
I went back to the farm where we had a fox on Tuesday night as I knew there was a few about . Grasshopper brought his rifle and I was doing the calling. Well I hand called 2 in lovely for him but I was amazed at how many we saw .....about 10 I think so a few more nights needed clearing these up. Cocker3 get yourself down seeing as you are having trouble seeing any

grasshopper
Well done both of you. was the Archer on that bayonet fitting. atb Terry No just lamping last night..took the .22 250 as i was going to have a call near the pen on my way home but stayed out longer than expected. 1st one was sitting over the brow of a hill,we had seen it earlier but she never hung about.Spotted from a way off 2nd time,so set up at the bottom of the hill and Mark hand called it along the brow for a little while before tempting her closer. As i watched her coming down the hill he lit her up.She was sitting down and face on about 100yds so i duly obliged. Conversation then followed... Thought you'd let it come closer You lit it up so i shot it You told me too Never said a word he's hearing voices now. 2nd Fox was on the edge of a wood and disappeared for a little while, before emerging closer. This field was circular and the Fox was edging around it,so a few changes of position until he eventually started in.Again he stopped at about the 100yd mark, and as i was on the bipod and rock steady on his chest,i squeezed off the shot, watched him fall and heard that resounding thump of a good hit Cheers for the look out Mark and good calling again mate..although i come to expect it now so no pressure Edited August 17, 2013 by grasshopper
