new to the flock
That would be my thoughts as well TC. I know my parents do not want material items for Christmas for as they say they are getting on and trying to get rid of all the extra they have collected over the years NTTF

darebear
see? i'm really not kidding here. they cant do anything really energetic because scaffy's mom had a hip replacement not so long ago. and there is no way i could get her in a hot air balloon. she's as bad as me with heights. first rung on a ladder and i've got vertigo they have just about everything they need, i dont think there is a dvd/cd they havent got that they want, they dont really read magazines. they dont drink, they dont collect anything, and nothing is broken that needs replacing that i'm aware of. and i'm one of those annoying **** for whom 'anything will do' just doesnt feature in my repetoire. bah. so i'm still stuck. argh. njc110381
How about some tickets to a classical/non modern music gig, or a show somewhere? Olds love to go and see some dude that no youngster has ever heard of, it'll make their year if they like that sort of thing. If they are a bit more modern, try a Jim Davidson show or something a bit rude, should make them laugh
