Just though I would say hello! I joined the forum a few weeks ago and still haven't got round to introducing myself.

My names Rob/Bobby, 28 years young from a little village called Coppull, just outside Chorley

I've done bits and bobs on the air rifles over the years but recently applied for my SGC after a friend of mine, also a PW member, got his license and gun a number of months back. I haven't done much with a SG apart from a day on the clays so still very much a novice, but have the bug in a BIG way. I've got a 2 hr lesson booked in next week in order to give myself a fighting chance haha and will take it from there....shooting at roughly 40% after my first ever session of 100 clays.

My cabinet is installed and just waiting on a visit/inspection and hopefully be up and running sooner rather than later.

I have so many questions for you guys but I will spend a few days reading over previous threads and try and get the info that way as I know it can be frustrating seeing the same threads and topics listed.

Hopefully get to know a few people as from what I've read and heard this forum seems to have a great bunch of people and a great community.

Cheers

Thanks Gordon, yes ive got Mcavoys and Bamfords on the doorstep.

I've only shot at Kelbrook which is we're I have booked my lesson. Hopefully just the one lesson needed to find my feet with the basics before the development of any poor habits. Also had a walk round worsley yesterday with a few friends who were letting a few clays have it. The traps seemed a lot more challenging there but it was mentioned that there was a comp there recently which explains the difficulty levels.
